SKYSHL Brand Entrepreneurial Story
Chen Shuanglong, 35 years old, is an ordinary electronic engineer, but because of his persistence and dream, he changed his life trajectory.
1. Starting point: a faint light
The story began more than ten years ago, when Mr. Chen just graduated from college and entered an optical communication company. During an overtime, he found that a fiber fusion splicer purchased by the company had frequent failures, but the maintenance cost was high. With the obsession of a technician, he disassembled the equipment to find out, but found that there were many places that could be optimized in the design. "What if I can make a more reliable and affordable device?" This idea planted the seeds of entrepreneurship in his heart.
2. Challenge: Starting from scratch
In 2006, Mr. Chen quit his stable job and rented a garage on the edge of the city with all his savings to start his entrepreneurial journey. He ran the market during the day and immersed himself in research and development at night. The garage was full of electronic components, tools and unfinished equipment prototypes. Whenever an experiment failed, he would ponder over the circuit board and code, often sitting all night.
To raise start-up capital, he sold his car and even borrowed money from friends. At the most difficult time, he could only survive on instant noodles. "The only thing I fear is not failure, but giving up," he said.
3. Opportunity: The first product is launched
Two years later, Chen's first product - a small fiber optic tester - was finally launched. The device was compact, easy to operate, and cost half as much as similar products. He took the prototype to an industry trade show. At first, few people noticed his booth, but when he patiently demonstrated the device to a customer, he immediately placed his first order. At that moment, his efforts were finally rewarded.
4. Growth: Team and dream go hand in hand
As the number of orders increased, Mr. Chen formed a small team. He not only focused on product research and development, but also began to pay attention to quality control and customer service. Mr. Chen did not shirk responsibility, but recalled all the problematic equipment and provided free replacements to customers. Although the company suffered heavy losses at the time, his integrity won the trust of customers and established a good reputation for the brand.
6. Today: See the future from the light
Ten years on, Mr. Chen's company has gone from garage to international. His optoelectronic inspection equipment is used in many fields such as communication, security, and medical care, serving thousands of customers worldwide.
